In a customer's lightweight study, the front hood of a Porsche 911 G could be made 55% lighter by means of variable heights of the NECTO structures. A two-layer CFRP steel structure was used for this.
In cooperation with a well-known caravan manufacturer, prototypes in NECTO sandwich construction are currently being developed for cladding elements for mobile homes.
